I don't care what you say - I hate fricking Poodles!! |
|
I wont' go near one.
It was a nasty-ass poodle that bit me when I was kid. I think they're more aggressive than pitbulls!

2. Actually thats quite true |

I've had poodles as pets, and they can be CRAAZY. I do know that they consistently make the top of the "dogs most likely to bite" list.

thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week.
Seriously, though, I'm with you - I hate poodles. I dislike dogs in general, but poodles have a special place of disgust for me. They're gross looking, creepy, yippy, and silly.

5. I hate that mutts are sold as purebred dogs with "cute" names like "Labradoodle" |
|
Apparently, that makes me an absolutely horrible person.
Haruka's one step-grandfather has a poodle. She's a really nice little dog, but barks like hell if people hug. She wants to protect the world from huggers.

8. Two things about poodles... |
|
they are highly intelligent and originally bred as work dogs, so they get real antsy when people want them to just sit there and look cute. They have an incredible amount of enrgy to work off, and they will work it off.
Thanks to some really nasty breeding practices, many poodles (and other dogs) are inbred and go literally insane after a while. My mother had a both Lhasa Apso and then a miniature poodle that had to be put down after they put people in the hospital. They were both usually wonderful dogs, but every so often you would see a strange look in their eyes and they would ferociously attack anyone nearby. Vets and trainers all said it was a problem with inbreeding that they are seeing more often now.

11. To quote the late, great Frank Zappa: |
|
"God created two mistakes. The first was called man. The second was called wo-man. And the third was the invention of the Poodle."
