Meet Zeus....
The application I filled out earlier this week for Mickey Rat Terrier fell through. He has some anxiety issues and potential health problems, so the rescue is going to hold on to him. :(

So I contacted the rescue I got Egypt through and this is what they gave me:

His name is Zeus and he is about 6 months old. :bounce::bounce:

He is being neutered today and will come home to us in about 6 weeks. They are going to continue socialization, potty training for me and when Little MB comes home from sleepaway camp - Voila - Zeus!

He is too frickin cute. :loveya:

19. Wonderful news - I am very happy for you
Hmm, Zeus and Egypt - love the names. Our whippets are Ptah and Djet (a first dynasty pharaoh). Long and happy years with each other to you, Egypt and Zeus.

20. Thank you.
I can only take credit for Zeus as a name. Egypt came that way and I thought I would change his name to Zeus since he is so young and it is more fitting than Payday. :D

27. You know, we may be crazy, but we think that Pitter-pat really digs living indoors and being loved.
He is the happiest little kitty. He sings and purrs all day long. Every day. Before we had him, he was found along the side of a city street, covered in all kinds of bugs, fleas, mud and everything else you can imagine. He was less than 2 pounds dripping wet. He picked up Upper Respitory Infection in the shelter (we soon discovered.) We took him home, then to the vet where he spent three long days in isolation hooked up to IVs and medicated. We would go all day long and hold him and cuddle him back to health. He recognizes life and death. Right now, he is the most pampered, spoiled little fuzzy kitten ever!!!

We love him, can you tell??? :loveya:

26. He has an amazing disposition for what he has been through.
The woman from rescue told me he was abused on a farm along with his brother. Then they were sent to a kill shelter, which is where she found them.

She took them both, but the brother is extremely shy and reluctant to make contact with humans. This one is just a big lover.
