defence or defense?
I just read this article: http://observer.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,6903,1153513,00.html in LBN and noticed the "c" spelling several times. I guess this is a Brit spelling I hadn't encountered before.

Though Rummy as Secretary of de Fence seems a far more appropriate position... :-)

I rather prefer it.

It's fun to see the spell checker throw a fit over the spelling.

Ditto for "Licence"...

like my daughter's team this morning. My girls made the best team in our confrence look bad with their defense.

Unfortulately they played good D as well so we went down swinging.

Defense is American. Both are correct - just be consistent.
