Just got this response on a dating site:
How Could You?

Say such things about our current administration
Don't you realize that he has made flying safer?
That he has protected our freedoms by rendering threatening hostile religions -oops - governments powerless
That he has assured us of a reliable oil supply by making strategic arrangements with the Saudis
That he has helped the economy by putting wealth in the hands of the people who understand how to use it best

GOOD HEAVENS!!

(I hope you can hear the tongue in cheek :-))

Let's see
ALL of the kids who hijacked the planes were Saudi
Their mentors were Saudi

So we invaded.....Afghanistan?
and then to make things safer
invaded...........................Iraq
And now are planning to invade............Iran?

None of whom has ever expressed interest in attacking us other than belligerant rhetoric from clergy

Soooo to finance the invasions he borrowed money from
(get this)...............................CHINA! :-0
using T-Bills laundered through other entities

I'm just getting going

Hi Wild Woman

I'm Charles
*************************************************

Not the worst start, eh, DUers? Naturally, he's married and looking for "other relationships". Just my luck. :hi:

8. Good for you. It's fun to move when you're excited about the new
place. I was gonna ask about the job but didn't want to bring up a sore subject. I'm still not working either but getting perilously close to taking a minimum wage thing. If I can get it, because having a degree makes me overqualified for everything while having no job experience makes me unqualified for everything.

10. oh gods, do i ever hear you on that
no one is going to hire me on as a secretary with my degree and work experience, but i'm trying to make a career change and it is damn hard. i've applied for what looks like a very interesting job, but it's at the absolute lowest pay i can accept and still survive.

i am so excited about the new place...it's about twice the size of my current place, but has only one more bedroom (my place now is the most ridiculously small place ever) and it's not going to cost me anymore than what i'm paying now :bounce:

the moving part of it doesn't bother me, it's the packing x( plus, my sister is moving the same day i am, so that is going to be a long damn day for us. but i can't complain, i am so ready to be out of here i could :puke:

12. Packing is VILE!
I swear I will sell my body (heh) to drum up cash to pay movers once this place sells. Actually by that time I'll be seventy so I'll have to find an alternate means of raising the money. I hope you have lots of help and lots of beer. :loveya:

I think I'll be around tomorrow night unless Maineiac gets in and wants to go out for his last night on the town before moving in with his woman.

HUGS!

And he doesn't want to date, he wants an "other relationship." Can you say "Sugar Daddy"? Laughing. Yes, I'm aware that I've mentioned my sugar daddy fantasies before, but this time I'm willing to use some of the proceeds to help pay for your - ahem - entertainment. :P

That's funny. I know a DUer or two who is also on The Fish. I've never really connected with anyone through a dating site but the interaction keeps me from feeling hideous and old. :hi:

26. Maybe it's being in the middle of the country.
Yet still in a city. Lots of women in Harley gear or love walks on the beach. In the midwest?
I've had no luck. It just reinforces the feelings of being hideous and old.

27. Well, I'm sorry about that.
One cannot take online dating services seriously... I mean, every now and then somebody is lucky but otherwise I think the whole scene is just a diversion from reality. Having said that, if Mr. Wonderful made an approach I mightn't pass it up. He'd have to be darned wonderful, though.

You are not old and ugly. I say this with certainty, never having seen you.

30. Hiya! How are you?
I'm really not sure. I haven't used any site with any dedication. I will say that if I log onto POF, I am bombarded with requests for IMs etc. Is that a good thing? I dunno. But I'll take a look at meetup.com and see if there's a meeting in this area. We don't have much, for example, we don't have that drinking with democrats site you (I think) told me about. There's one in Portland, 2.5 hours to the south of me but I'm not going to drive down there to drink!

Anything happening? I hope you're doing well!

32. Better than mine...
The most recent response I received was, "Hey-- I know you're a dude, but if you're into threesomes, I think I could talk my wife into it". I'm not kidding. He sent picures of both of them. "Together" if you know what I mean :scared:

Something tells me it's time to go back to the old fashioned rules of courting a young lady-- meet her at a bar, get her liquored up, and lie to her about my income... :hide:
