I hear ya on the being sick of beer. I need to do a serious detox from all the booze I drank when we were down in Cancun on vacation.

Here's to clean living! :toast: LOL, I'll drink to that!

on edit: oops, this got entered as a response to chimpsrsmarter, accidentally.

9. Yes Maaam!
They smile more than Berliners do for some reason.
Side note the guy who loaded the luggage in the rental car reeked of alcohol at 9am in the morning.(Maybe thats why Prauganians are smiling all the time.
Everyones still asleep here and I'm about to hop in the shower. Then the vacation continues.
I will have more to share when i get home my friend  :loveya:

24. Yeah, I ate at a Tex-Mex place in Prague during the mid 90s
Not really any worse than most of the faux Mexican here in Seattle. I liked Berlin too, although I was only there for less than a day. At that time, the whole center of the city was just a huge vacant lot awaiting construction on the ruins of the Wall. I would love to go back there someday.

Glad you had a good vacation.

21. Ignore that.
He said the same thing when bibaby posted about getting her student aid approved. Apparently nobody's allowed to be mildly prosperous or even happy if somebody somewhere says they'd doing without. :eyes:

28. Glad you went there
otherwise you would have missed out on something.

I am really happy that you had such a nice time in Germany and in Prague. Did you know I am 1/8 Czech? The husband of my great grandmother was Czech. And my grandparents lived in Bohemia till 1945 when they were forced to leave.

My mom did tours in Sanssouci when she was a teen. Cool, huh?
