I system restored to the day before I installed that update and everything was square.
The next time it prompted me to install that automatic update, I just skipped it. Everything is fine so far.
I am glad to hear that it has been acknowledged and they are working on it though. I like ZoneAlarm.

Since before Microsoft even believed that there was any need for a firewall.
It was more annoying than anything but it does show how little Microsoft cares about testing.
