If Motown's 25th anniversary was 1983, that means Motown is now 50. Memories?
Some of us are old enough to remember the very first songs (especially some of us who were kids growing up in Detroit in the early '60s). I certainly remember the Supremes, Temps, Four Tops, etc. as there when the Beatles roared in, and they more than held their own. Then came Marvin and Aretha. Wow.

But admittedly, in a "do you remember where you were moment," there was this. From the 25th anniversary, 1983. Just wow. Forget about all that has happened since, this is still a moment where I remember where I was when I saw this.
