Brett Favre is a great QB but his Donkey Show antics |
|
makes me think that Green Bay needs to fish in another pond.
Savvy?
It deserved it's own thread and now it has it.

He is the best chance they have at a Super Bowl this season, and that is the bottom line and you know it.

Especially since we won't be playing in Green Bay in January. :scared:
We'll be playing Brett and the guys in October, and all good little Seahawks fans already have their game faces on...

15. The media created the donkey show. |
|
That's what they do. Report possible retirement, then when it doesn't happen, report that he changed his mind (couldn't have been that they got the story wrong). Fill the talk shows with complaints that he can't make up his mind. Repeat for three seasons until the subject is finally pressured into retirement, then go apeshit when he backs off.
Same thing they do to politicians. Create the story, become the story.
Favre announced he was retiring once. Now he's changed his mind. Not the first time that's happened in the NFL, and hardly a donkey show. The donkey show is the media, not the QB. It's an old NFL saying that you never let the media pick your starting quarterback.
They came one play away from the Super Bowl last year with Favre. No one thinks they'll come anywhere near that close with Rodgers. Seems like a simple football decision. If the Packer GM blows that, he and Matt Millen can switch jobs, and the Pack might even come out ahead.
Not that I care. I'm a Cowboys fan. I just hate stupid GMs. Umm, yeah, there's some incongruity in those last two statements...

I was just fucking with people. As far as anti Cowboys, well come on, I will NEVER get over the officiating at the 96 NFC championship...Would you if you were in my shoes? I have seen less holding in a wrestling match.

19. 96--that was Packers/Panthers. I guess you mean 95. I saw no holding. |
|
The officiating was perfectly fine, from my vantage point. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fkpElgoYSYNow, the 94 NFC Championship had some uncalled holding, or the Cowboys would have won four straight Super Bowls...
