1. just be careful with the bones!
please avoid giving kitty leg bones which splinter easily. She can have the ribs, neck and spine.

6. When my then-SO and I moved out of the apartment
that he and I and our two cats had shared for years, you do NOT want to know how many years-old, completely licked-clean chicken bones we found in miscellaneous impossible locations.

We didn't even eat that much chicken!

7. No bones for the kitty - I think the drum stick is almost as big as she is!
Just little slivers of chicken form the roast I made. I'm already teaching the kitty terrible habits by feeding her from my plate.

4. Chicken was invented for teh kittehs
Also, cats can have raw chicken, they don’t have the problems with salmonella that humans do. Or baby girl would climb through fire for chicken. If she knows the guy we live with has some, she just gets in his face and demands a bite.

13. my elder cat is a total poultry junkie. If I bring fried chicken into the
house he goes totally bonkers until he gets a bit, even Popeye's extra spicy.

His favorite cat food is Whiskas Totally Chicken.

8. it's not wrong :D
do it do it. I don't eat meat myself but I buy cheap chicken guts for Tonka. It's hearts and lungs, like for stew or something :* It's just $3 for enough to last him for weeks. I divide it into little amounts and freeze the pieces and then every other day I'll thaw a little and cut it up for him and serve it to him cold, and he loves it!
I wasn't sure about it when I started giving it to him but everything's okay. The other 2 cats don't even want to try it.

10. Chicken meat-especially organ meat-is better for your kitty than most
commercial cat foods: http://www.api4animals.org/facts.php?p=359&more=1

There's a good reason why animals that should be living into their early 20s are dying at 14-16 years of age-of things like cancer and kidney failure. The crap that goes into commercial (non USDA/ human grade pet foods) is far worse than the fast food crap they serve to us!

12. ooo I bet it is.
worse than the fast food crap, I mean. It's nothing but another Industry I'm afraid. I'll read the page and share it. And maybe I can get the other two to eat something real too.
