2. My daughter caught a turtle today

And on a Sunday, no less. We were fishing for bullheads just for the heck of it when she snagged a large turtle. It had moss growing on it - not caramel.

Love looking at those mountains, have done so a couple of times a year for the last several years, 10 to be exact.

My dad is moving down to the 1 mile level below the front range and prolly won't spend as much time here.

Mixed feelings.... my mother lived her last days here and died in this condo.... but my dad is getting older and it behooves him to move down where there are more services.

*sigh*

This place makes me think of her d'oh, especially the wooden box in his bedroom with her ashes in it.

Mostly just memories of the worst years of her life, but the only years she ever had a grandson in as well and that delighted her.
