2. I was thinking of putting the Beatles on, but,
having listened to them 24/7 in my youth, I rarely listen anymore. They are indeed great, however.

Good choices. Simon and Garfunkel (and Paul Simon) and U2 could have been on my list, too.

Van Morrison doesn't always get the respect he deserves IMO.

15. Very sad, I don't know anyone who played with such joy and love for his music
with the possible exception of Stevie Ray Vaughan. I have made it my mission to introduce as many people as I can to Rory's music so we can keep it alive. My favorite albums are Calling Card and Photo-Finish and Stage Struck is just awesome!:headbang:

18. True. His composition and time signatures always invoke some emotion for me.
Joy, sadness, elation, always something different. The bitch is trying to get ahold of his stuff on cd. Not a lot of the catalog out there that I've seen.x(

16. Well, as Homer Simpson says...
Everyone knows rock n' roll attained perfection in 1974; It's a scientific fact.

Just kidding of course. There's lots of great artists both new and "classic". The question was for favorites and the ones I listed were some of mine.
