young guys can be such idiots... the WORST line ever
Edited on Sun Jul-13-08 09:03 PM by Ava
today i had to go to my grandparents house to drop something off. before i left town i stopped at a gas station to get gas and drink. i get out of my car, walk to the entrance of the store and hear someone say "hey! hey!" so i look and there is a young guy hanging out of his car door. he says "hey girl. you wanna pet my puppy?"

i get the feeling he didn't have a real puppy. >_<

ewwww

that's the first time i've heard that one. hell, he might've even come up with that one himself.

1. Wow. That's bad.
Not even an attempt to fake interest in you. He just wants you to come over and um... do something for him.

He'll still be a virgin in 5 years. :P

7. My advice: Don't get serious about any guy under the age of 30
Wait! That came out wrong ... I don't mean date a 30-year-old guy now. I just mean, in my experience, most guys (yeah, lots of exceptions, blah blah) are not worth investing serious time in until they've had time to be tempered. That usually comes after most of their 20s are behind them.

*prepares to be flamed*

22. actually, as a guy I'd agree somewhat
maybe say 28 though - some of us realize what douchebags we are a couple of years early.

10. i think people like that should be forced to wear a shock collar that jolts them...
every time they say something painfully stupid.
this is the only way they learn.

25. I may have spoken too soon
I could see this guy opening his mouth to speak to you, getting a painful shock, thinking about it, speaking again, getting another shock, thinking about it...

11. So there I was, sitting at this gas station, with this poor little dog in my back seat...
Poor little beast. I had found him on the highway, and he seemed so lost and lonely. He was trembling.

I asked everyone I saw if they wanted to pet him, to make the poor little thing feel better, and they all looked at me like I was some pervert. It just doesn't pay to be a nice guy anymore. Anyone know where I can find a home for him?

13. Oh, you rascal! You hit below the belt!
I'd take that adorable little beast in a heartbeat!

But if some stranger at a gas station asked to to come over and "pet his puppy", I'd likely tell him that it sounds like a small job he could do by hand.

12. Strangest question I was ever asked in my youth -
"Where do you get your teeth done?"

I was lucky. Rarely ever had cavities, and never wore braces. I just thought it was a very strange pick-up line.

17. What an idiot.
I was an awkward kid myself, and would have never had the courage to use a line on a good-looking girl anyways, but good freakin grief, what kind of girl actually responds to that crap?

21. My assumption is that it's meant to offend,
And that the young man in question gets his jollies off of making people feel uncomfortable. Anyhoo, the kid's a piece of excrement, unworthy of your time.
