Do you think they'll improve the taste of Budweiser?
Now that they're being bought by a Belgian brewer? Bud is one of two beers that I refuse to drink because it tastes so shitty. I'm just wondering if they'll try to make it taste like beer instead of sour piss.

1. Ironic that you'd describe something that tastes like piss as tasting shitty...
:P

2. Miracle of marketing
you can have a bud anywhere in the world and it tastes like piss everywhere! It really is amazingly consistent piss.

3. I drank the real Budweiser Budvar last week in Berlin

It taste tons better than the American piss water that they shove down our throats here.
It tasted sort of like grolsch.

4. Shoot me if you'd like, but I don't mind Budweiser.
The idea that beer has to taste "good" is somewhat foriegn to me. Honestly, there's not much difference between Bud and Heiniken if you'd ask me. They both taste like regular old beer to me.

5. They both...
SUCK!

There are so many good beers, why bother drinking a bad one?

10. Beer and coffee....
....two beverages whose main purpose for me is not taste but effect.

It's as simple as that.

9. My Mustang thinks it's good.

I've been taming this wild Mustang for a few months then I let my husband have a go and they did some male bonding over a Budweiser. (His idea of how to gentle a wild horse).

He'd ain't no hard working Clydesdale. He's one of the wild bunch.

This photo is untouched. He really is grinning!

I've given my horses a Guinness now and again.

How's the gentling going? Are you making progress?

23. He's learning so quickly
He's doing very well and is eager to learn. I'm incredibly impressed with Mustangs and I'm about to adopt a second one from the BLM.
Are you Irish? I've heard that the Irish like to give their horses Guinness.

we breed and race Standardbreds. I actually learned about the Guinness trick from an English flats trainer. Although, he did his apprenticeship at Ballydoyle under Vincent O'Brien. Guinness will keep them in the feed tub.

I want to commend you and your family for adopting BLM horses. Horses are not cheap to care for and it can be a lot of work. But, it's worth it I think. I can't imagine life without horses.

I hope your guy continues to improve in his training. Horses are amazing beings and some of the truest characters I've ever met.

Unless they made it taste like Coors.

19. No, not one damn bit
Nasty stuff it may be but you don't mess with success.

Compared to Coors it is ambrosia.

But I no longer drink, as of now anyway, so have no horses in this race.

21. Nope, but you know,
you can buy a Budweiser in some European countries and it actually tastes like beer!! I guess some people in other countries refuse to drink piss, so they have to have a different recipe.

the real Budweiser. He said it was amazing, leaps and bounds over its American namesake.

26. Hopefully they will make it actually taste like beer.
Instead of over-sweetened, goat-piss, belch-water. American domestic beers Suuuuuuhuuuuhuhuuuuuuk. Because of the genetically modified yeast, and speed brewing process, with tons of sugar added. I refuse to drink any of it, from this day forward.

27. The only way to improve the taste of Budweiser is to drink nearly any other beer.
Perhaps the Belgians will substitute Peche or Kreik Lambic ale and see if anyone can tell the difference.
