How Do I Explain My New Whiskers? (to my spouse)
Edited on Mon Jul-14-08 11:16 AM by NJCher
I look like a cat with red rouge!

He's been gone for two weeks on a business/pleasure trip and is returning this afternoon. I need response to the smarta@%# comments that I know are coming.

While he was gone, a mosquito bit me right on my face. Then it went to the other side and bit me there, too. So I have two red dots, one on each cheek. They are evenly spaced. It looks so symmetrical someone might think I actually put them there.

Then they started itching and I made the stupid mistake of scratching. Oddly enough, I now have two scratches under each red dot. Both scratches look like painted-on cat's whiskers.

Combine this with the fact that we have three cats and I know I am up for some serious ridicule this afternoon.

Help! I will be laughed out of the house. What do I say?!

He's been gone two weeks? His attention should be diverted easy enough. What whiskers?
