Babies and toddlers not allowed at: |
|
Main Street Bar & Grill in Clearlake, CA.
A lady I know with tykes and who was breast-feeding was told to leave after getting yelled at by some geezers. When she left with kids and friend in tow, the patrons cheered. They did not eat their lunch and the children couldn't eat their ice cream.

1. I am a parent and I believe it is up to the business owner |
|
If the owner does not want children in his/her establishment, he/she has the right to refuse to serve children in the establishment.
And for this thread you will need plenty of this:

5. In California a woman is allowed to breastfeed anywhere she and her infant are allowed to be. |
|
Unless the place simply doesn't allow kids, they're violating state law.

11. Just pleeze supervise them in the grocery store |
|
At least 4 times I've had a toddler push a full size grocery cart into the back of my legs as I waited in the checkout line. It feels like having your Achilles tendon severed. When it happens, because it's unexpected, the first words out of your mouth is at best "shit",, but more usually it is "fuck", and then everyone looks at you like you're the bad guy for saying such words in the presence of old ladies and young infants.

13. As far as I'm concerned, the complaining geezer is the one |
|
who should have been asked to leave. Women should have the right to breastfeed in restaurants. After all, that's where people go to eat, and babies need to eat too.
Those people who cheered need to grow the fuck up.
