Sheen is a peace activist. I believe he has been arrested during protests several times.

11. I know
But that still doesn't mean he'd be a good president. Not to say that he wouldn't though.

Remeber wall street? Sheen would rock, and if anyone disagreed with him, he'd dice them up like Kurtz.

6. Jed Bartlett is a good president
Martin Sheen PLAYS Jed Bartlett, but he doesn't write the scripts.

Now, if you want Martin Sheen for President, you have to get his writers, too. Then, once again, you'd have a president who needs other people to tell him what to say.

Is that really what we want?

I love the Jed Bartlett character on West Wing. I wish I had a president like that. But the glory of a fictional universe is that you can make it work out the way you want to, and all wrapped up in an hour, too. The real world is just a teensy bit different.

7. He can act. But can he do?
Just because he's an actor doesn't mean he's qualified.

Look at Arnold, Ronald, and Jesse.

Of course, we haven't seen a Dem in power... (Jerry Springer is supposedly a Dem, and was mayor of Ohio or whatever, but his show is such tawdry cheap-ratings-grabbing utter filth that I swear it's made and supported solely by repukes.)

10. jerry springer
is smarter than bush, has more compassion than bush, and is not a lier like bush. jerry is a well educated, articulate person and has an understanding of the american people that few politicians have. to bad he didn`t run in ohio,he would have made a very good senator.

9. One of my favourite work mementos:
I worked on "The Dead Zone", with Christopher Walken and Martin Sheen.

Martin Sheen played a presidential candidate, and in a slow moment, I got him to sign one of the prop campaign brochures for me. It really is a Martin Sheen presidential campaign flyer!
