I have to admit, the stupid film grew on me rapidly. I bought it ($5 bin) at a grocery store, just on the basis of having heard its name bandied about here, and after I watched it for the first time I saw the satire but thought it was basically a really stupid movie. The second time I watched it, just recently, the genius of it sank in more -- it's not the first movie I've seen, some of them now firm favorites, that took a couple or more watchings to really get into. The thing's brilliant (and, yes, simultaneously stupid, probably a side-effect of focusing on the terminally dense).

I have to admit, I way prefer this Presidential theme over "Hail to the Chief," and Comacho's got better writers (and tailors) working for him than Dubya has:
