The worst clock of all time
Check out this touching piece of memorabilia http://www.collectiblestoday.com/ct/product/prdid-104234001.jsp?_Bradford/_prod/_/_/_/_1011&endeca=true&abbr=brad&FP3#">here.

It's hard to read the fine print online, but I believe that you can get a version with a lynched slave for a pendulum.

No disrespect intended to any DU'ers from the formerly treasonous Confederate States of America, but what the fuck is up with all Confetishism in our society? There's this sick worship of the grand ol' South that borders on pathological--not because the South or its inhabitants are bad, but because the huge majority of the idiots with Confederate flags on their trucks don't actually know anything about the history they're worshipping.

5. It's so sad that the South only had a single hour of glory
and the rest of the last 500 years have been spent in shame and squalor. :(

8. For all that pop culture focuses on, one would certainly be inclined to think so
And it doesn't help that the loudest and most memorable Republican voices in recent years have come from the former Confederate states (and, apparently, from the 19th century).

"Nobody's ever gone broke underestimating the bad taste of the American public"

9. That's true, of course, but sometimes I'm still amazed
No low is ever so low that there won't be a lower one tomorrow.

11. Fools will buy that shit, too!
I should come up with some confederate flag-drenched piece of crap to sell to the dolts who will shell out $150.00 for such garbage!

Its not "civil war memorabilia"...Its a collectible from the "War of Northern Aggression"!
Thats actually the term used on a HISTORICAL PLAQUE I saw in Georgia..I might have to dig up that picture..I found it jaw dropping to see it officially refered to that way..

15. So "collectible" now means 'cheap-but-overpriced tacky trinket'?
Another example of the collapse of the English language...
