Not a big Batman fan.

Marvel rules! DC blows!

10. nah
she's seen the Batman cartoon a few times, so I doubt she'd be that scared of The Joker... I just think it would be too disturbing overall.

11. I was reading IT in a restaurant once
Finished my meal after reading the scene of Pennywise under the bridge, holding the balloons blowing in the wind...except the wind was blowing in the opposite direction.

Went out into the lobby, and a mom walks in with her little boy.

Who was holding a balloon.

Spooky...

17. I normally do not get scared reading books
but, was home alone one night many years back reading "Salem's Lot" - the main character (I think) was sneaking up to the house where they thought the vampires lived and the last line at the end of the chapter was something like, "and he felt a hand upon his shoulder!"

And, right then, the power went out and I was left in the black.

13. Never ever
I have a visceral negative reaction to any and all comic book/superhero movies. Yeah okay I'm not their target demographic, but I also feel that they're the result of a very, VERY lazy Hollywood and its copycat/franchise/"make a sequel, make a zillion" penchant.
In short, :puke:, no matter how impressive Ledger's performance.
