I know when someone begs you to watch something the impulse is to groan, but I really wish people would watch this music video and tell me what they think. This is really one of the more unique (and accessible) groups I've found on You Tube lately. Watch and tell me if they are not awesome!

I just bought one of their albums yesterday from Itunes. They've got another song that's real bluesy, so you here them playing a very different style from the video I posted. Some of their stuff is also kind of jazz-fusiony.

I watched a few other vids too. The one you posted is excellent, but would have been even better without the accompanying band and regular rock elements. The two dudes kick ass just fine alone.

20. Shamisens are a bit low in the mix. Otherwise, superb!...

...I'm sure audio experts could tell me I'm wrong, but to my ears the modern instruments overpowered the traditional a bit. Just a personal preference, I suppose.
