Wait, so you're telling me I can have both the deep, meaningful and beautiful music of ABBA...and... |
|
....the multifaceted, introspective and downright enthralling acting abilities of one Colin Firth, all in the same movie?
There has to be more! Please tell me there is more! There's gotta be more!

3. They played a clip from "Mama Mia" when Pierce Bronsnan was a guest on "The Daily Show". |
|
Pierce and Meryl Streep were singing "SOS".
Let's just say that Pierce shouldn't give up that acting day job.
I still want to see it, though.

4. I always surprise myself |
|
by how much I enjoy ABBA. I forget about them, then I hear a song and I think "Wow, I forgot how much I love that song." and bop around. Somewhere I have a tape (yes, that's how long ago I bought it) that I loved to play and dance around house when my oldest was but a wee bebbe. I should really buy the soundtrack.

5. How about career ending roles for Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan? |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-17-08 10:34 AM by Tyler Durden
A film version, of a bad musical using the unoriginal music of ABBA, remaking the VERY mediocre film "Buona Sera Mrs. Campbell."
Let me slit my wrists.

I happen to like ABBA..Although the film is not getting good reviews..however, I am waiting to see what Midlo says to you about your comments..This might make "Sex and the City" gate tame by comparison...

I never force them to listen to Mozart, I merely marvel at the differences in taste.
HOWEVER, in return for the Doofus, I reserve the right to scream "TRIPE!" whenever I perceive tripe being served.
To each his own tastes, said the old lady as she kissed the cow.

Truly a horrifying image.

Seriously, legislating taste is the highest form of idiocy in my book, and you are certainly welcome to yours. I just wish the Symphony Orchestra and the musicians got paid remotely like ABBA.

....just to grasp the concept of having both ABBA music and Chuggo music in the same setting. I believe that would open up some sort of porthole to hell, and that would be worth the price of admission in and of itself.
