I've thought about doing this. I have a base unit cordless that plugs into the phone jack and 2 satellite units that only need electrical power, no phone jack. Looks like it I plugged the base station into the Magic Jack it would work.
I'd cancel my local and long distance service, but I get dsl from the phone co. Wonder if I could keep that without paying for local service?

If you plug the base station into the computer you can use the cordless phone. Yes, it works on DSL: Your Question What type of internet service do I need?
