Two dogs and a garden (pics)
I thought I'd update on my garden. It's growing out of control a bit. I have zukes and one cherry tomato plant that will not stop growing no matter how many suckers I pull off. I ate one tiny reddish tomato yesterday, that's all so far. Share your own pet and/or gardening pics!

5. Loverly!
Your garden is rockin!

I see that Ben is the terrorist and Emma is the love muffin :D

Here are a few garden pics. Mine is not doing as well as yours yet, but it is a work in progress

These were taken on the 9th. I have only been watering since, but I plan spending the evening in the garden.

9. lolol
That was kinda what I was hoping.

I planted Hollycock, Aster, Carnation, Aubrietta, Blanketflower, Snapdragon and Morning Glory as sort of a test. It is in a spot that is visible but not to accessible, so I wanted to see if any would beat out the poison oak (mentioned below).

It seems next year I'm going with a massive Glory strike. We'll see :D

8. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but looking at the picture of the morning glory,
I also see what appears to be poison oak. Be careful!

10. I'm lucky in that respect
I don't get it unless the juice goes into a wound.

I say lucky.. really it meant I had to cut most of the firewood growing up around here :D

Thanks for the heads up though.

Any idea what these are? I left it large in case it helps.

11. I don't know what those are, but I would probably pull them as weeds on the
assumption that anything that came up volunteer in those numbers wouldn't be a plant that I wanted to grow.

18. the power box in pic one blows my theory sky high, otherwise
there is very Victorian quality to these pics...another age, a calmer, more peaceful era.

19. Sweet
I can see that, now that you mention it. Of course, I know that there are bicycles and cars and toys all about and you can't hear kids fighting in the background. Heh.

20. If you really have dogs how come your house isn't covered with dog hair?
If I could sell vacuum cleaner bags full of dog hair I'd be wealthy.

:scared: Poison Oak :scared:

Another great trick my dogs have, besides making lots and lots of hair, is to run through the poison oak with great abandon. That makes them very dangerous to touch until they have a bath. And of course, after a good romp through the poison oak (or a good roll on a dead putrid animal...) that's when they are most affectionate.

21. Simple, really.
Before taking their pictures, I made sure it wasn't in a spot showing any mounds of fur dust bunnies. Plus, I had just swept the floor.

I also have two long-haired cats and three (including me) long-haired human females. My dust bunnies are known to eat small humans.
