How does it compare to your work space?

2. 6 x 8.
And that's cramped. How do you turn around in 20 sq.ft.? That's 4 x 5. Yikes.

3. I work in a coffeehouse...
I'm a barista and spend my entire day in the same 8'x 4' space. No walls though, it's open space...that's just my area. I don't do dishes or serve or bus tables or porter...I just make drinks.

5. That sucks...
I'm glad I don't work at a business that makes its employees work in cubicles. That's inhumane, IMO.

My workspace is considered the whole store (I work in retail).

May I tell the world, please, that I HATE it?

The desktop is BLACK.

Oh, what cheery surroundings.

However, my real workspace is wherever I can haul my laptop to (usually as far from that office as possible...)

16. Mine is approximately 6 X 8' and contains an L shaped "desk",
printer stand and 4 drawer filing cabinet. There's not much floor space, but I have a big window that looks onto the parking lot and the street beyond.

32. Well, it'd be a small house ... sorta.
Not the executive suite. Ninth floor, office building. Two doors down from the "corner office." But the view out the window is downtown Jackson, Mississippi (and I'll let you judge that for yourself)!!

23. ...I have an actual office for the first time in my life
:thud: The fact that it has a window is a happy accident, because usually consultants don't rate a window, but they wanted me in the middle of my department, so wow.

It's huge too, compared to my past work spaces - 10x12 easy. One wall is da window (on the 21st floor), and I have a door that locks.

I expect to get slightly downgraded if they pick up or extend my contract through the department's planned move to the 16th floor, but I'll still get an office.

:hi:

24. Not trying to make any jealous, but...
My "back office" (which is where most of the equipment is, and where I do thos production work) is 28 by 16 feet, and my "outer office" (where Mrs R has her computer for doing the accounting, and where I have meetings with visitors, and where I work on the MacBook sitting on the couch when my back won't let me sit in my office chair) is 28 feet by 24 feet.

But hey, I need the space, because I have a LOT of equipment, and furthermore, there are five of me, as you can see in this picture of the "outer office:"

26. Large classroom (30' x 36') plus 8' x 21' office/workroom
It's a huge, beautiful, well-equipped classroom room with lots of windows. In the workroom I can leave ongoing projects all spread out. It's a teacher's dream. My whole little townhouse is much smaller than this public school classroom.

31. Roughly 97 square feet. It's the 3rd bedroom in my townhouse
I work from home at least three days a week, so I consider that my work space. If I travel to the office, it's 56 square feet (7' x8')
