I Finally watched the last 15 minutes of Black Adder Goes Forth-- |
|
the last episode. For those of you who saw my earlier post, I had turned it off because I didn't want to see them die.
No matter how often I watch it, those final minutes are just achingly painful!

1. Of course, they die at the end of Black Adder III, too. |
|
Or, at least Prince George does. I agree, though. The last episode of four is very bittersweet.
Though maligned by some, the fourth season is very, very funny. Of course, I'd pay to see Stephen Fry read a phone book...

3. Yeah, but you don't take those deaths seriously... |
|
...this time they're showing what happened to thousands of young men in WW I--horrible, pointless deaths.

2. You might want to watch the special they did. |

I realize that it's pretty devastating to deal with the WWI series. That said, if you watch "Black Adder Back and Forth," or whatever it's called, it'll provide a little relief from what you've just experienced.
I'll bet you can get it on VHS or DVD, and I caught it on my local PBS station.
