Dodge trucks... you may never see them the same way again

Especially if they're driven by macho guys with "truck nutz"

It's probably better that I don't post the rest of it.

My husband wasn't a "mister macho"...
He just liked Dodge trucks (got his first one at 18 and it's still running) and used them well.

19. I was actually thinking of the guys with the 'truck nuts'
as referenced in the OP.

I drive a Honda Ridgeline... so I'd certainly not characterize all men who drive trucks as 'mister macho' types.

Sorry 'bout that! :pals:

21. The "macho" trucks
(the ones that look like they've never done a second of utility work in their lives) I like to call "dick-up trucks" :P

6. What better to write on the front of a big truck than "Dodge?"
Stolen from some comedian somewhere in my past.

20. I just had some nasty patches of road rash and a bike fit only for scrap.
Considering I was not wearing a helmet and was knocked into traffic on a busy street, it could have been a whole hell of a lot worse.

The downside is that the stupid cop (but I repeat myself) who came to the scene of the accident gave me a ticket for improper crossing, even though more than a dozen witnesses I'd never met swore I crossed properly and the lady in the car just wasn't paying any attention.

24. Oh, sounds like you got lucky

That's ridiculous about the ticket... wtf??? I have a good friend who got hit-and-runned... hit-and-ranned...??? You know what i mean. But before the driver took off he managed to pull his U-lock out of his back pocket and drill the back panel. Perhaps not the most *mature* reaction, but seriously, who drives away after hitting a biker???

Did the driver get a ticket too, or just you?

27. I don't know, Officer Crackbaby was too chickenshit to give it to me in person,
so I got the ticket in the mail.

That's what I get for being cool and declining to bill her insurance- it was only a $100 bike, I didn't want her insurance to go up for it. I have learned my lesson, and in the future will cover my own ass first.
