9. Sherbert *is* lower in fat...
doesn't have all that pesky cream in it. Might not even have the eggs. But somehow it's just not as satisfying as ice cream.

Now I might have to finish my coffee ice cream when I go home. I've got some butter pecan, too. And over the Fourth, I made vanilla and chocolate and I'm pretty sure there's still some of that left. That has possibilities. With some peaches or strawberries or bananas or chocolate syrup or...

Damn.

13. Not me.
I was perfectly content, sitting here with my m&ms and my coffee. Until I started to think about ice cream.

And then you had to go mention angel food cake and I baked one of those earlier this week. Bought strawberries and peaches yesterday. So now I'm thinking angel food cake with ice cream and strawberries and peaches.

No whipped topping, though. My youngest ate all of that for lunch yesterday with his peanut butter.

Lo-cal Dreamsicles, but the raspberry is just as good as the orange. Ninety calories.

8. My son bought a pint of Haagen-Dazs with a candy bar in it, I think...
But it's been sitting there, half eaten, for a week or so. I'm not touching it! :P

I love Vanilla bean ice cream too but I don't buy Haagen-Dazs much. To expensive for my budget. :(

I do have a fresh Angel Food Cake though.... I need some strawberries and low fat cool whip!! :D

11. Ice cream
I don't have it very often, but I can't say no to a 60 calorie, low fat, NO artificial sweetener Fudgesicle (or, in local parlance that drives my Midwestern hubby crazy, "Fudgicle"). Just had one in fact. :9

I like those and some popsicles. I really should buy the one
serving, low fat one's, to have on hand in times of cravings! :D

But I also have Weight Watchers Chocolate Chip cookies.
Never tried them before. We'll see!

23. It is very cooling and refreshing on a summer evening,
especially when it melts and mixes, and becomes more of a slush than just a float. The flavors work well together.

25. it's really cheaper?
I almost never buy any sweets, so I have no idea what they cost, but I like orange sherbet when I'm at my parents' house - it's something that my dad really likes and was a treat for me as a kid.

but also like coffee ice cream. I hate anything with pieces in it... When I had my tonsils out, at age 17, they brought me strawberry ice cream, which had big pieces of strawberries. Somebody wasn't thinking...:-(
