13. Wuss...
Winter driving in MA is the bestest fun. Nothing better than driving the back roads, gunning through snow drifts and seeing how many times you can spin at the bottom of a hill. Weeeeee!

Good times indeed :D

14. Honestly
black ice in my shiny 'Vette was the deciding factor in my college choice.

But, there is nothing like a rotary in the snow. It's like rally drifting for the boomer set.

18. Yeah, I"m no fan of black ice, but I love me some snow driving
I think us W. MA people have the upper hand on snow drivin', as we get so much more of it, on average, and we have dirt roads that never get fully cleared until snowmelt happens. Made me a kickass winter driver, that's for sure. :D

Man, I've been home 2x this week...The Gfield rotary has marked lanes now. Wtf? That takes ALL the fun out of things. x(

Culture, history, scenery.

I love where I live, though (Chicago, IL). Sometimes I get homesick for Virginia (Southwestern - in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Keep your NoVa--suburbs are fugly!)

If I were filthy rich, my main residence would be in Manhattan and my second house in Alaska.

every year for about seven years we've been going to Maine for a vacation. I ALWAYS have to go out on the touristy lobster boat in Perkins Cove!
I don't know what it is (because I've been around!), but the Maine coast from Wells to Boothbay Harbor has me hooked!

47. Connecticut, Maine, Vermont or New Hampshire
CT because that is where I grew up, where all my family, and my heart, still is. Maine because it is so pretty, because I love the Down-east accent, Down-east humor, because I spent four happy years there at Colby College. Vermont and New Hampshire because I love the wild landscape, the twisty-turny roads. I guess I just love New England. R.I. has beautiful coastline, great beaches and I'd love to be near them for as long as they last but the development there has gone wild. The parts of Mass I know are a little overdeveloped for my taste, although CT too is going sadly in that direction.

58. Denver, Colorado
For a few reasons, I haven't been everywhere. It traditionally votes Dem A couple is that Denver passed the Alcohol-Marijuana Initiative, possession of an ounce for people 21 or older legal They also passed an initiative to make marijuana the "lowest law enforement priority." And plus they have my favorite football and basketball team and I like the Nuggets and the Colorado Buffaloes and would love to catch the battle of I-25 between Colorado State and Colorado at the Invesco Field.

I'd have to say Phoenix-Tempe-Mesa as my second choice I grew up here and live here currently. There is always something to do and have good friends here, it's diverse and love the weather. It's also bad place as well but out of other cities such as St Louis and Atlanta love it here much more

Oregon would be my third choice, I've lived in Washington state and if you'd live in WA you might as well live in Oregon. No state taxes everything is cheaper, where .99 means .99 not .99 + tax. Plus I believe it is the first state to decriminalize marijuana but California has better marijuana laws.

However in Washington I could definately live in Federal Way or get a nice house in view of the Puget Sound in University Place, WA. This may seem wierd to some but I like Tacoma, Washington.
