I've been there. Tried that stuff. I don't think I would eat it again, but I'm glad I gave it a try. My arteries still have the plaque from that, I'm sure.

I just heard of this tonight. I don't really eat much bacon, but I like a good Chicken Fried Steak :)

You taste the bacon, the breading and the gravy. Chicken fried steak I eat repeatedly. I ate the bacon only once. ;)

But I'd never heard of it until tonight.
And this is probably true: "They'll chicken fry their own grandmas if they stopped moving"

13. OMG. This started out as a joke. |

I think it was in the book "The World According to Bubba". In which Bubba praised 'Mama's chicken fried bacon. It's seals the juices in.' And now somebody's actually gone and done it. Wow.

but then of course, it wouldn't be funny. But I'd crumbled the cooked bacon and mix it with the flour and then use that to coat chicken strips and they fry those. Bacon fried chicken! Mmmmmmmmmm

Is this some form of mortal bravado?
I just don't get it. Some things, like bacon, are good on their own and in small doses.
Fellow DUppies, would you do this with prosciutto?
