my ass hurts. i hope barack appreciates what we are doing for him out here.
drove from chicago to dubuque, canvassed in the million degree heat for 5 hours, met some of the most knuckle dragging backwash ever, and drove back home. left at 7am, return at almost midnight. i can barely move.
the only way i am going back to iowa is if i go somewhere FLAT!
anyone else care to discuss their battle scars?

1. I don't even want to KNOW what you were doing out there for Barack...
...to make that particular part of your body hurt so much.

3. walking in hilly country, and driving for almost 10 hours.
i think the muscles are sore because of the heat, and how hard it was to stay hydrated. or stay hydrated AND drive back home.
and honey, it is hard not to wish it were something else with such a handsome candidate.

2. Thank you for doing that!
And for not knocking out any knuckle draggers! (I do phonebanking and sometimes I'm glad I'm not within strangling distance of some people).

4. i just wish i could stop
the "i shoulda told that guy..."
i actually felt bad for a few of the people. older people who were just scared.
i got some "one the job training yada yada" "inexperienced"- i wished i had offered to make a little wager about what he would accomplish in his first hundred days. or first week for that matter.
