7. Part your hair on the *other* side.
I've always liked this, too:

Motto to live by: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WHOO HOO, what a ride!"

I'm in the same age bracket, and this is my #1 priority everyday -- well except when I allow myself the occasional treat and bout of laziness.

19. Remember that everyone works with everyone else
If you have one friend who's always there for you (and you for them,) you're the richest man in town. More than that? You have untold wealth.

Here's my last sage advice: Nothing is worth that hangover.

22. yeehaw!
if you are ever in a situation where someone provides you with food, or anything of monetary value and you don't have any money, a high five is a good shoe in.

also, take time to deep breathe, and make sure it's from the diaphram (SP! i know...)!!!

36. Believe that your life is not yet half over
There is an awful lot of time left to do what you really want to do in this one time around in life. In 10-15 years begin to think about how you can giveback to others. The 40+ years so far can be viewed as an investment, and most certainly as an education!
