2. Depends on who is playing.
If it's the Red Sox v well, anyone, it'd be baseball. However, I'd much rather watch Chelsea v Arsenal or ManU football match than a lot of other baseball games.

6. Real Football or Rugby.
I'm not talking about the crap played here in America that you call Football. I'm talking about balls to the wall, no pads, 90 minutes of all out competition.

7. when michael jordan was playing with the bulls, it was basketball- now, not so much...
put me down for da'bears nfl football.
but i can't watch ANY sports, just for the sake of watching a game- and i don't gamble on it either. i have to have some type of connection to one of the teams for it to hold my interest- a chicago team, or u of i(llinois), etc...

all in all- i'd rather be watching a good movie...or a sitcom...or a cartoon...or reading a book...or tossing one off..

21. Yeah, BAYBY! He almost blew it yesterday (or Team McC did), but what a finish!
We (husband and I) still hate Alonso for robbing LH of his historic championship last year.

25. It was such an exciting race.
Lewis was on a mission after that pit stop. I think he would have driven through Massa and Piquet if he couldn't have got around them.

And I share your dislike of Alonso, mostly because of his feeble attempt to blackmail Ron Dennis over the "Ferrarigate" scandal, and then running to the FIA when Ron wouldn't play ball. Unfortunately for Alonso, Dennis got to the FIA first and told them everything, so Alonso just looked like a petty crook. It was fasntastic to see Piquet outperform him so completely yesterday (especially considering how Alonso demands the best cars, parts, and engineers for himself)!

10. Live or on TV
Hockey is the best sport to watch live, and on tv it's a toss up between basketball and football.

I especially like when the guys chasing the ball grab onto the backs of the motorcycles for extra speed. Who can't just be in awe of Jonathan E and the boys down in Houston?

23. Hockey.
Crisp, clean, cool....and immediate. Sound travels so well. It's like the Hollywood Bowl in there.

I remember I was watching Zdeno Chara during the skate-around at Staples Center and I told him, without even raising my voice all that much, "Hey, Chara! Stand up!" The puzzled look he gave me as he glided by me is burned into my brain. (Zdeno Chara is like 6'10" without the skates on.) After that, me and another guy from my section were going all Monty Python on him whenever he'd skate by us (14 foot 6! Damn you!....15 foot 9! Damn you!) A wonderful time was had by all.

Now, I love watching baseball, too. My boss has really really REALLY good seats at Dodger Stadium, and I go to about a dozen games a year. But If I tried heckling the players there, even good-naturedly, I'd get a stern talking-to and perhaps be escorted to the gate.

Pro football's gone, and we don't seem to miss it much here. College football is great, but better on TV.

Can't afford Lakers tickets, and I don't pay attention to college b-ball. Soccer, tennis, and golf must be played to be enjoyed. Watching them is hell.

And I flat out hate boxeo.

So there you have it...Hockey!

NFL stuff should really be called throwball. It just does not make any sense to call it football... it just doesn't.
