The neighbor kid who threw a rock through my window last summer

for no apparent reason just informed me that the brush pile in my driveway is making it difficult for him to use my basketball hoop.

5. Now wouldn't it just be a shame if some fierce and rabid creatures made a nest in there?

Heh.

4. I know, right?

I'm wondering how long the city will let me keep it there before it officially becomes an eyesore, or a fire hazard. :7

:hi:

14. His parents did.

I feel sorry for them, he really has a problem. And is an adult now. He lives with them, won't work, takes only a few classes at the local college - and only the classes he likes, so, not on any kind of a commencement track. They are trying to get him to join the service because of his insolence and violent outbursts.

12. Aw, honey.

So sorry you are going through a difficult time.

You're a good man and an excellent Dad. I hope you know that.

One of the best quotes I ever heard about child raising: "When they're little, you have to catch them before they fall. When they're big you have to let them fall, and then help them back up."

17. I might need you to KICK HIS ASS.

Yes indeed!

Actually, he always leaves his basketball unattended in my yard, so I'm thinking it might end up with a price tag on it at my next rummage sale. Hee hee.

16. You could always erect an...
...archery target just under the hoop, and then decide to practice just when he's going for a lay-up. The resultant accident would be a "terrible tragedy that could not have been foreseen," to use the accepted BushCo parlance.

19. Aw, dude!

I could take all the hardware off the backboard and have it just propped up on a stick, with a string long enough to reach my back window attached...

Damn skippy, a girl's gotta do what she must to protect her property from teenagers with bad attitudes.

I'll do it with fishing line too, so he doesn't know WTF happened - his ball will just be magically hanging there in the net! OMG, evil genius, you!

set the brush on fire trapping his obnoxious little ass in your driveway.

31. Good idea. That, or...

Hmm. I wonder if they make rat traps big enough for surly teenage boys. I could bait it with a can of beer or something. Or camouflage it with spray paint to blend into the driveway and leave it under the net for the next time he makes a lay-up.

:hi:

32. No Poison Ivy, but only because I didn't think of it.

It does have plenty of thorns from the dead rose bush, tho.
