Gun advocacy group tours Idaho zoo while armed
BOISE, Idaho- Idaho members of a group that advocates for the right to openly carry handguns in public are turning heads by touring Zoo Boise while packing guns on their hips.

Ten members of OpenCarry.org were allowed into the zoo Saturday after some initial confusion at the entrance about whether it was legal to bring an unconcealed handgun inside.

Group member Carol Schultz of Nampa says: "Coming to the zoo was something we could do together, like any family would."

Schultz says she's never without her handgun that she keeps in a holster attached to a heart-studded belt.

2. Ridiculous.
I honestly don't get the obsession with guns Americans seem to have.

4. How much you wanna bet
these are the same dolts who drive SUVs but live in gated suburbia, i.e. they drive over-compensating equipment not because they need it, but to impress other people. Same thing with the gun, it's just an overpriced accessory that they think impresses everyone. :puke:

5. In IDAHO? Surely you jest...
There are so many guns in Idaho, you need something really special if you want to impress anyone with your gun.

I'm sure you can't do it now, but when I was in high school some kids brought hunting rifles to school every day of hunting season, and no one even batted an eye. 'Course, there's a difference between keeping a handgun in your locker to off some random kid, and keeping a .30-06 in the gun rack of your pickup because you're going to drive into the woods right after sixth hour and spend two hours hunting deer.
