1. My nerdiness requires me to reply |
|
It would have been so much awesomer if it would have been Wookies.

2. Indeed. It was hard to take space teddy bears seriously. |
|
It was fun to spend a few evenings watching all the films. Don't know what I'll do for fun tomorrow night. I fear I'm becoming a nerd, because I'm considering going to the library tomorrow to look for Star Wars novels. I know there are a few out there.

You're not close to being a nerd yet if you place "few" and "Star Wars novels" in close proximity. :-)

5. Yup, too bad they had already visited Kashyyyk in the Star Wars Holiday Special |
|
Hold on, I have to go hide from the assassin George Lucas just sent to kill me for mentioning that.

4. They are cuddly and cute, no doubt about it. |
|
And they're handy with a catapult, too!

7. They made me root for the Empire ... |
|
Actually they just made me wish Han would go all Indiana Jones on their ass when he was captured.
The existence of Ewoks makes no sense in that environment. None. They would have become extinct well before they could have developed civilization, unless of course they were aided along by a corporate backer who wished to exploit their image with a bunch of toys the CEO could use to impress his kids.
Or something.
