Poll question: Which original Street Fighter 2 character would you most want to be?
Blanka was always my favorite, but I kicked the most ass with Guile.

If I was playing somebody i never played before, I would always choose Ryu because he had great defense and I could watch all their strategy.

After a few matches I would switch to Guile and kill them in 2 combos. Throw a weak sonic boom, run after it and jump in, the boom hits, throw a jumping fierce, standing fierce, standing sonic boom, follow with backhand fierce punch if they are in the corner. They are dizzy, repeat.....match over.

edit: i knew a guy once in college that was a master with Dhalsim though. He was incredibly hard to beat. He had this trap down where it was hard as hell to do anything about. Kind of like the fireball -> opponent jumps in -> dragon punch combo except you never expected it.

3. I usually played Ken, but resorted to Guile against someone that used the 'throw' move too much.
I still want that SF II machine or a Champion Edition.

4. I don't remember who I was playing, but I once beat a friend not even facing the screen.
It was on the Xbox 360 with all the old Capcom releases, and I was feeling contrarian and so decided to not even turn around to face the screen when the controller was shoved in my hands. I just started mashing button and all of a sudden, I find out I won. Come to think of it, I might have been playing Blanka.

5. Blanka was a well rounded character.
Blanka, E. Honda, and Chun-li all had moves that made it really hard to attack them for seconds at a time. Blanka's were probably the easiest to learn and most effective.

6. 2nd Tier Fighters
Guile/Ryu destroy them all.

Blanka is one of my fav's in SFA3 though. He is so damn fast and strong.
