OK, this is how bad it's gotten. This is how much I distrust Bush. |

There is a part of me that believes he had his dog killed to win sympathy from the voters.
Am I now officially too cynical, or what?

The Christian cleaning woman at my office today surprised me today by starting a conversation about politics and brought up the dog story. "Too bad he doesn't care about all the people he's killed in Iraq," she said.

I know exactly how you feel. I believe nothing that comes from him or his cronies. If he told me anything I wouldn't believe it. He has turned this world into a multitude of cynics. The dog was pretty old and he just put her out of her "misery."

but since dubya bragged about blowing up frogs (or whatever) when he was younger, I'd be calling for an autopsy on the dog. And after that, and independent counsel.

Seriously, with * and his cronies, *anything* is possible. They are bound to evoke the darkest thoughts in the best of us.
I'm convinced the right wing has been committing unspeakable acts for the last 40 years, give or take a month.

9. The dog was a Springer Spaniel, nearly 15. |
|
Chances are good that it would have been humane to euthanize this animal some time ago. The articles I saw mentioned "multiple strokes". I suspect they were feeding it massive amounts of analgesics/anti-inflammatories. This breed is notorious for hip problems.

11. It's actually much more evil than you think |
|
Plans are already being formulated to invade France in retaliation for this assassination of the Presidential English Springer Spaniel by French terrorists. France is the obvious suspect because of their well-known animosity toward the English, their illegal nuclear weapons program, and their support for terrorists by not being "with us" in the war on terror in Iraq.
The code name of this invasion will be Operation Freedom Freedom.
