BEST * CONCERT * EVER - George Clinton
Man, Clinton went on for over 4 hours at the Bottle & Cork down at Dewey Beach last Friday. I don't think I danced my ass off at a concert in god knows how long but damn, it was so fucking good.

He also shared a few things being passed around at the concert too.

That's his granddaughter to the left of him. She came out and rapped during a song.

3. I LOVE him in concert.
I have been twice and both times are up there as some of the most enjoyable evenings ever.

4. P'shaw!
Oingo Boingo... January... 1993 ... Universal Ampitheater

Elfman rocked faces for 3 + hours. They debuted what songs would compose their last studio album and at one point during the concert, there were probably 20 different musicians on stage playing everything from accordions to violins to marimbas. I think they did 2 if not 3 encores and wrapped things up with Only A Lad. After they left the stage, shoes, glowsticks, and bras were being picked up by bouncers on stage.

They even did a cover of I Am The Walrus.

Both times they played well over 4 1/2 hours (the last time they still werent done even at 2:00 AM). It was fucking sweet.

7. Man, I can't believe that guy still has that much energy at over 65.
Only James Brown could rival him at a similar age.

On a somewhat random note, I went to the Download Festival in Mountain View, CA on Saturday, and I got to see Gang of Four and The Jesus and Mary Chain back to back. Those guys can still put on an amazing show in, respectively, their early 50's and mid-to-late 40's.

12. That is the plan! Hopefully all the storms we've been having will end by then.
I love outdoor events like this.
