I know this is probably a old wives tale, but you might know better.

Wife's 8 weeks...

5. okay
Umm..since gender is determined pretty much at the moment of fertilization when either an x chrom bearing sperm meets the x egg or the y chromosome sperm meets the x egg..thats kind of difficult for umm diet to influence it..

6. I believe that what the myth is saying
is that your body craves different things based on whatever gender child you are carrying, not that what you eat will cause you to have a boy or girl.

I ate everything and anything for all three of my kids - I have one of each. :P

19. Hrmmm... here's an odd coincidence from Spanish.
Spanish for "the meat" is el carne, with a masculine article.

Spanish for "the milk" is la leche, with a feminine article.

Coincidence???

25. It's definitely not true. I was crazy about dairy, and had a boy.
I didn't eat more than my "normal" amount of meat, but OMG I craved dairy. Cottage cheese, regular cheese, yogurt, milk...I tripled my intake of that stuff. 9 months later, a healthy (and BIG) baby boy.

Congrats!! :hi:
