I just got a voicemail (I fucking screened her call, so my brother had to call me and leave me a voicemail) from my brother that my mom is in the hospital.

She has tachycardia, so sometimes she can nearly faint from her heart beating much too fast.

My mom was teaching when she got a sharp pain of blood rushing to her heart. She told me she could feel her heart, and then she had her TA call 911. The paramedics observed her and told her she did not have a heart attack, but right now she is at the hospital to see what happened to her, and if it's a serious problem.

So I request lounge vibes for my mommy. :(

9. Update: all the tests went well!

The doctor and nurses did a battery of tests on her and found nothing. She had three EKG's, 2 before she got to the hospital, and one at the hospital. The first two were really high, but the last one was fine. The shape of her heart is good, and her blood tests came out negative.

She has to go to her general practitioner though, and then probably a cardiologist.

It was likely just a really bad tachycardic 'attack'.
