Grr. the worst thing about taking oral chemotherapy...
Is that you can be feeling fine all day and then WHAP! out of the nowhere the nausea and the vomiting hit you..So much for lunch..Now I'm gonna feel like crap the rest of the day I'm afraid..

I can't wait to be off this drug and back on interferon only....x(

4. When my ex was doing chemo for non-Hodgkin's
he would do chemo...come home and work his ass off, then hit the bed when the sickness kicked in after a couple of days. Hell, he once painted the living room with a buffalo tube in his arm.

8. Crystallised ginger has been shown to quell nausea
Or there are prescription meds, some given as suppository if you can't take stuff by mouth because of the nausea.

10. My friend is going through that too
She takes Zofran and Compazine and they work really well, especially the Zofran.
I hope you're feeling better and don't have to take the chemo for very long.

Sometimes these drugs come in suppository form in case you are too nauseous to swallow anything.

11. Lavender flower tea
When I had morning sickness many years ago, lavender tea was about the only thing that helped.

Ginger is very good too.
