Have you run across a website that gives definitive answers in a search?

I saw one but it trickled through my fingers.

www.deadoralive.com ? Nope... not there.

www.deadoralive.org ? No again.

Here's one: http://www.fiftiesweb.com/dead/dead-people.htm

Right in my age group, too. We were watching the movie "On The Town," which Grandpa bought because he liked Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly. I wondered if any of those stars were still alive.

Probably not.

Too maudlin for a summer night.

On to the next entertainment feature...

There used to be a nurse who had a website but I don't recall the details. I think it used to be www.deadpeopleserver.com -- thanks so much, really.

Do you recall Elaine May? Comedienne who worked with Mike Nichols when he was a standup comic?

Old fogies like me remember her.

She did a routine named "A Call from Long Island." It was fabulous!

Have a nice day tomorrow -- it's Wednesday -- some people who are working call it hump day -- because it's in the middle of the week. However, in retirement, you have to develop different date landmarks!

Gratefully,

RL in OR
