Happy Lundi Gras!

I want to share with you a couple of the hippest things about New Orleans.
Today is Lundi Gras. If you’re a pro, or a tourist, you’d start drinking at the parades on Monday and you would’t stop until the NOPD gives everybody the bum’s rush out of the Quarter at 12:00am(sharp) on Wednesday. Everybody knows about the debauchery. But, there are a lot of pompous socialite/debutante ceremonies every Carnival season, throwback to the late 1800s, early 1900s. Not everybody knows about all that(*yawn*). Yet...

There are few things about New Orleans that are much cooler than the Mardi Gras Indians. I could tell you about it, but here you go:
