for GOPisEvil, who misses my remodeling stories from hell
I have a couple projects for you, brother, since P-Nut isn't available any more. :)

The old water heater we had to replace has become a part of the back patio furniture. We need to load that up and recycle it.

After three years of watching the old basketball goal rust menacingly above the cars, I pulled it down and out of the hole with the pickup last Saturday. Never felt more good ol' boy in my life. I'll be breaking up that concrete this afternoon.

The side yard is washing away, and my new retaining wall had created a lake 15 minutes into last night's storm. After 20 minutes, it was a cataract. I broke my pickaxe digging up the stupid pole, bought a new one today, and we'll share it while we bury the perforated drainage line.

:hi:

1. Heh - I should have taken pictures of my dad and I installing a kitchen sink.
Or of me replumbing the whole drain assembly last weekend.

Who was it that said home ownership was fun? They lied.

3. I like the water heater on the back porch.
Mine is original to my house (25 y/o), so I know it will have to be replaced at some point. But it's gas, and I would rather not mess with that, so I'll let the pros handle that one.

4. I think I'll turn it into a still.
As long as I'm going the backwoods route...

Yeah, I nearly blew up the old house messing with the gas once. Good idea to let someone else do it.
