Poll question: Which breakfast should MMjr. wake up to?
Let's see....I have the stuff I need to make the following breakfasts:

1) Grits with lots of butter, scrambled eggs, toast, bacon.

2) Biscuits and gravy, and sausage.

3) Belgian waffles with cane syrup and sausage.

4) Big stack of pancakes with cane syrup and bacon.

5) French toast with confectioner's sugar and bacon.

6) Watermelon half.

All above served with OJ and milk.

What are YOU having for breakfast?

2. I'm probably going to have juice and cookies from the blood drive people.
A blood drive van will be at my workplace this morning, it'll be an hour after I get off of work, but I can hang out for that long and read, then let them try to vamp me.

I always *try* to give blood when the van comes along.

However, they've never gotten a full pint from me unless I went into the blood center and had the real pros do it. Or perhaps they have access to slightly smaller needles in the clinics. My veins usually burst before a full pint comes out. I let them try on the other side, and it bursts there too.

But at least I try!

7. Thanks! :)
I had a blood transfusion myself (when I was born, ruptured cord, we both bled a lot), so I kind of feel it's a duty.

They busted my left arm's vein, but then they said that they couldn't try on the other arm. I don't know if it was because of the fact their setup pretty much had a right-sided chair and a left-sided chair only, and moving me to the other bench might have been problematic....

So I only have one bruised elbow instead of two, but I was more than willing to let them try on the other one....

5. I'll have Number 1, but can I substitute sausage for bacon?
It sounds delicious, I love grits. :9

Glad you're feeling better, Maddy. :hi:

6. For you, absolutely! I'll even fry instead of scramble your eggs.
I'm feeling sooo much better. I really believe that I had a heat-stroke or near heat-stroke...

I've been inside mostly, since I got out of the hospital, but I'm ready to get out and do something today.

Love ya! :hi:
