Google Image Ripper bypasses the thumbnail portion of a Google Images search and takes you straight to the results.

Normally, a Google Images search presents you with countless pages' worth of thumbnails, each of which you have to click (usually twice) to see the full-size image. With Google Image Ripper, you enter your search term and pick an image size (from icon to xxlarge); the engine fetches the images and dumps the full-size results into a single browser page. It's not quite as elegant as the thumbnail view, but it's a helluva lot faster for finding a desired image. Bookmark this. — Rick Broida

Firefox users: Google Image Ripper can be added to your top-right search field!
Click on the icon left of the search field and click "add Google Image Ripper".

This is great! Can't wait to share it with my wife - she is constantly searching Google images in order to create teaching materials for her classroom.

11. I've been using it for a couple of minutes now...

I'm not thrilled with the results you get back, actually. They are different from the ones you get in regular Google Image.

It seems to default to 'large', with "Not Safe For Work" unchecked by default.

I was searching for an image of a mathematical expression and the thumbnails made the them impossible to even read forcing me to open every image by hand. While trying to find out if google provided any way to change the default thumbnail size I found this hack.
