Yes, open to all.
Me? Katherine Harris, Michelle Malkin, Heidi while Spencer was kept in a box as "the gimp."
I'm kinda sick that way, no?

But not in the violent way.
Well, not most of the time.

J/K
I think we deserve special medals, having Repub spouses! :hi:
(And I agree with you about "not most of the time!")

*I* think he's pretty cute. He looks like a long-haired hippie type, not conservative in the least; his political beliefs are quite contradictory to every other aspect of his personality.

9. About having a Repub spouse |
|
Edited on Fri Jul-25-08 06:41 PM by muddleofpudd
we deal very well with it.
I know his views, and he knows mine, and each thinks the other is wrong on most issues. We know we're going to cancel each others' votes out, so we move on.
We can disagree without being disagreeable.
But then, our politics is not so embedded in the very fiber of our beings, the way it is with some people, like some of my girlfriends. They can't understand how I could ever even talk to a Republican, much less marry one.
I guess love transcends politics. At least in my case.

13. We mock each other incessantly |
|
But we've also learned a lot about each other's views that we wouldn't have known otherwise. For instance, he thought I was going to vote for Hillary and was quite surprised that I had no intention of voting for her. I was surprised to find out that he's no fan of McCain, didn't vote in the primaries (didn't like any of the choices), and likely won't vote in the GE. Which means our votes won't cancel each other out! Plus 1 for the Dems! :woohoo:

14. DH is actually thinking of voting Libertarian this year. |
|
Not because he likes Bob Barr particularly, but he says he doesn't trust John McCain.
He thinks McCain will give the Supreme Court another David Souter or John Paul Stevens (both Republican nominees).
+2 for Obama!

|
We moved a couple of years ago, and I don't think he ever registered in this county.
Yay--we win!

17. This is Arkansas. One doesn't have to register for any party. |
|
DH is more of a general conservative, not a party-joining Republican. And in Arkansas, there's not really much of a Republican Party to join. It's pretty moribund.

I suppose, if it got to last call and I hadn't met anyone interesting, I'd go home with one of those interchangeable blonde teleprompter-readers from Faux. But I wouldn't make breakfast...
