Dry cleaners will take coat hangers - even ones that didn't come from them (when they return the dry cleaning) ?
I just moved into a new place and I must have about 100 thousand hangers since I brought all I need and the previous owner left all of his.

|
C'mon...you don't have 100,000 hangers. You're just trying to impress us.

6. not at dry cleaners i've used here |
|
they put their own hanger in and give mine back to me as they are accepting the garment.
perhaps that's because my hangers are plastic and their machines use the dreaded "wire coat hangers".
this is not something i have ever given much thought to. i mean, occasionally it seems like i need hangers, very rarely, so i buy them, they are cheap anyway.
but i have really come to like the hangers from Target. whenever i buy clothes from there, i always keep those hangers.
