1. I like it too.
Unfortunately, I have to catch it on DVD since I get no TV reception.

5. I watched one season of CSI and stopped
I absolutely cannot stand the affectations of the lead actor.

I do like the whole production of these new shows, though. High tech sets, fast paced editing, intro during the credits, good (and plausible) special effects and interesting sound tracks/music. And some of the acting even passes muster. Micheala Conlin is one that passes. Can't say as much for Ms. Bones herself, although if she took some elocution lessons, it might help.

13. He is a VERY under-rated actor, IMO.

4. I couldn't make it through the first episode.
I changed the channel as soon as they introduced that goofy holographic imaging machine.

8. I couldn't watch it either - for me, it was the massively overdone and unbelievable
unworldliness/social ineptness of the main character. I get that she's supposed to be 'all scientist', but I'm not down with a character that can rattle off the entire human genome from memory but doesn't know that people sometimes drink alcohol in night-clubs (I'm making up this example of course, but you get the picture).

The holomachine was  as well, however...

9. Um, it's a fictional TV Show.
Let go of reality for an hour.

10. It's fiction? Well, that's completely different - I thought it was a documentary!
Of course I know it's a fictional TV show; my post was explaining why I don't find this particular fiction enjoyable. Letting go of reality wouldn't help in the slightest...

12. I like the show as well
It's based on both Kathy Reich's work (loosely, of course) as a forensic pathologist, and her mystery novels (Dr. Temperance Brennan is the main character in the novels).

I like the fact that on the show, Dr. Brennan also writes novels, and the main character in the novel was Kathy Reichs. Just a little bit of the self-referential humor that I love.

14. great show!
rented a bunch to watch since I'd missed it on tv. Love the characters... although Temperance is a little "too much" sometimes..

Reminds me a little of the x-files in it's" wise-guy smart folk" humor...

15. I really like it
I like it better than CSI. It's homorous and dark at the same time.

Plus, I relate the analytical minded heroine. I can come across is unemotional sometimes too, even if I don't mean to be.
