I need advice about dealing with apparent sexual harrassment

It started innocently enough. She’s stalk into my office, rub my leg, purr a little, then leave. Sometimes she’d stretch out on the small sofa by the window and nap. I had already requested that she be forbidden from my office, as he presence is always a distraction, but to no avail.

Now she’s taken to insisting on sitting in my lap, prodding and nuzzling my groin, and refuses to leave irrespective of the time of day, or how many times I throw her out. She digs her nails into my shoulder when I complain, and at least once, she came in sick and barfed all over the carpet. I cleaned it up and promised I wouldn’t make a fuss.

Lately she’s started typing weird crypting messages on my work computer, almost as if she was some master cipher. I don’t have the key so I can’t decode them.

She doesn’t understand that, although I have feelings for her, they aren’t THOSE kind of feelings, I’m already married AND there is a significant language barrier. I am certain that no matter how hard I try I’ll never learn hers.

She seems to take great delight in the fact that I occasionally work until very late at night and therefore sometimes sleep in a separate bed. I think she views this as a weakening of my marriage.

And it’s getting worse.

She’s already affected my job, and seems intent on disrupting my marriage. At least twice now I’ve found her standing at the foot of the bed while the wife and I sleep. I chase her out but she keeps coming back. It’s beginning to freak me out a little, knowing she’s prowling around the house at night.

I’ve discussed it with my wife and she says I’m imagining things and that regardless of my growing concern my wife will still maintain their friendship. Occasionally I’ve found them both petting on the couch.

I need help. Who do I call? The ASPCA or PETA?

5. I think you need to re-evaluate your relationship

with your wife. Obviously you have some "feelings" for the newcomer. Why did you let her in your home in the first place? And why would she make constant demands for your attention, if you haven't encouraged her by petting and stroking her? Or HAVE you?
